Brighton Voices in Exile (Facebook page)
Local Brighton group supporting destitute asylum seekers in the community.
In 2014, we assisted 227 detainees with a small grant to help them when they went back to their home country.
We helped 908 detainees keep in touch with friends, family and solicitors by providing mobile top ups.
We provided clothing to 411 detainees, many of whom arrive at the centre with little more than what they are standing up in.
