At Backstory, Iraqi author and activist, Haifa Zangana will read the tale she has written for the fourth anthology of Refugee Tales to be published this summer. This is the tale of a Sudanese refugee. Haifa is joined on the panel by Anna Pincus, Director of Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group and co-editor of Refugee Tales and by a person with first-hand experience of immigration detention.
Doors will be open at 7 pm, and the event will officially start at 7.30 pm.
